My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed returning to the Bahia Principe Grand Samana! We were last here in 2023 and we are so very happy to be here again in January 2026.. This place is so very beautiful. We are so very happy with our wonderful room. The staff are very friendly, responsive and serve with excellence under the management leadership of Lissa Matos. The private beach is great and the views here are spectacular! If you want a quiet, beautiful resort with excellent service we would highly recommend coming to the Bahia Principe Grand Samana.

I'd like to try this hotel if the bridge were rebuilt to offer a shuttle service to Cayo Levantado like before. As it is, I don't want to go because there's nothing to do at the hotel.

The biggest drawback of the hotel is the food; there's little variety, and for an all-inclusive, the options during the day are limited. It's very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but it's only really good if you stay three nights. There are no shows or entertainment, and it's full of stairs—lots of them. There's no service on the beach, and the hotel is quite remote, meaning you have to hire a taxi for everything. The views are beautiful!
