Hotel was 5/5 but restaurant didn’t live up to the hotel standard. Out of all the dishes the Cesar salad was good and the curry was good. The lobster salad was really not good lobster was overcooked and salad soaked in mayonnaise not fresh at all. Tuna tartar - the crispy rice was soggy due to humidity and both avocado and mango mushy. Hibiscus ice tea was delicious.

We stayed at Bamboo Zanzibar for two nights at the end of our trip. The hotel is beautiful, you feel like you are staying in nature and we loved how peaceful and tranquil it was. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was exceptional! Everyone working there was very friendly, very hospitable and always with a smile on their face. I booked a massage at the hotel's spa, and it was the best one I have ever had!! Overall, we loved our experience at the hotel!

Bamboo Zanzibar is a stylish boutique hotel with an exceptional location, spectacular views, and an incredibly dedicated team. The restaurant offers one of the most beautiful ocean views we have ever experienced – miles of turquoise water in countless shades of blue. At low tide, stunning sandbanks emerge, while at high tide, the sea shimmers in deep, intense blues. This breathtaking panorama can also be enjoyed from the long, elegantly designed pool, which blends seamlessly into the landscape. We were especially grateful for the generous, complimentary upgrade to a villa. It was truly unique: sleeping under an open bamboo roof, surrounded by nature, with a private pool that almost completely encircles the room. An open shower and bath area, mosquito net around the bed – you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle without sacrificing any comfort. Even at night, during tropical rain, it was a very special experience – and despite the open design, we had absolutely no problems with mosquitoes. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh, modern, varied, and of very high quality. A real highlight was the floating breakfast in the private pool – lovingly decorated and beautifully presented. The cocktails and wine selection were also excellent. For lunch and dinner, there's a consistent menu with additional daily specials. We were particularly impressed by the grilled chicken salad and the "Catch of the Day."
