We booked a hotel room in December for the night of February 28th, a room for four people (two adults and two children, ages six and four). Arrival at 6:30 pm went very smoothly thanks to the remote check-in, and we found a parking space despite the limited availability. Upon entering the room, we realized it was extremely hot, around 28°C (82°F) in the middle of winter. We immediately opened the windows because we couldn't use the ventilation or air conditioning. With the heating off and the windows open, we went out to eat. When we returned to the room around 9 pm, it was still hot, with the heating completely off. Then we realized there was an ice rink right across the street with a special event (Winter Break) and loud electronic music until 4 am. (It was impossible to leave the windows open with the noise and the heat that quickly rose. At 1 a.m., I went down to reception to see if it was possible to change rooms. The hotel manager that night offered us a room with a double bed facing the street (the other rooms were full). Not wanting to change rooms with my children in the middle of the night and sleep in a double bed with four people, potentially experiencing the same heat and noise, I decided not to change rooms. I made the mistake of saying that this hotel was a joke, and the manager spoke rudely to me, saying that if I wanted to leave, the doors were open and he would give us a refund. Of course, at 1 a.m. with two children, I couldn't imagine being on the street. Naturally, it was impossible to find another hotel, so we stayed and endured the heat and noise despite having the window open until 4:30 a.m. I should also mention the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. It urgently needs renovating and Hiring respectful staff is essential, especially when a customer is speaking quietly. I will not repeat this experience at a B&B hotel. The price of the room for four people compared to the service is outrageous. I won't take the risk again. It's better to choose a superior hotel and not pay more. I regularly book rooms with my children, and I have never had such a terrible night. €160 a night!!!
