Friendly staff, comfortable beds. Easy to use, and if you have a room facing the courtyard, it's super quiet (I'm a very light sleeper). A budget hotel, but perfect if you just need a quiet bed to sleep in.

We stayed in Ludwigshafen for three nights for our son's handball tournament. Since we were a group of four, we booked a family room with bunk beds. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this family room, more on that in a moment. First, I want to emphasize that the problem was most likely, and hopefully, with this one room. The hotel's location is fantastic! It's right on the Rhine, opposite a large shopping center. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; they fulfilled every request. The breakfast is also amazing, served in a lovely breakfast room. Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with the room. Aside from the fact that it's extremely small for a family room, there's no luggage storage, and apart from a small shelf with four compartments, there's no wardrobe for clothes, there were other specific problems with the room. Upon arrival, there was a strong, unidentifiable odor that could only be eliminated after extensive airing. The bathroom fan ran continuously, even with the lights off. And in the bathroom, a foul odor emanated from one of the drains, which would linger until morning. Furthermore, the soundproofing was very poor. You could hear the television in the next room as well as the traffic noise. The quality and design of the rooms themselves are truly excellent. Exactly our taste. But the aforementioned issues dampened our enjoyment. As mentioned, the staff were generally very tolerant! Our group often gathered in the lobby, and the noise was quite loud. The children played everywhere. When it became too much, the reception staff very politely asked us to be a little quieter. Overall, it's a really great hotel, if it weren't for the issues with the room.
