B&B Hotel Miami Airport

We came to Miami for a cruise trip. Before and after the cruise, we booked the same hotel twice. Because we needed to store some of our luggage during the cruise, we intentionally reserved the same hotel for both stays. As long-term travelers, we had a very large amount of luggage. At around 8:00 PM, when we arrived to check in for our first stay, we were informed that our room was on the 4th floor and that the elevator was out of order. The hotel staff told us we could either carry our luggage up the stairs or receive a refund. Carrying our luggage upstairs was impossible, so late at night we had no choice but to find another hotel. When we explained that we had booked the hotel twice, the staff told us that if we requested a refund through the booking site, both reservations would be refunded. However, in the end, only the first night was refunded. The second reservation was not refunded, so after finishing our cruise, we returned to the hotel and checked in again. This time, the bathroom in our room wasn't working at all—no water was coming out. It was late at night, so repairs weren't possible. The hotel said there were no other rooms of the same type available and that a refund wasn't possible. As a result, we were told to use a restroom on another floor and were given an extra key to access that floor. Considering that it was the year-end peak season and the room rate wasn't cheap, staying in a room where we couldn't properly use the bathroom was unacceptable. It was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Additionally, the floor was so dirty that the bottoms of our children's feet turned black after walking barefoot in the room. We were long-term travelers and had a lot of luggage. When I checked in at the hotel around 8 p.m., my room was on the fourth floor, but the elevator was broken. They told me I could either take the stairs or get a refund. We couldn't move our luggage, so we had to find another hotel late that evening. They also said they could refund both reservations if we requested them through the reservation website. However, only the refund for the same day was approved. Since the second reservation wasn't refundable, we checked in again after the cruise. This time, the toilet wasn't working. It wouldn't flush. They said it was too late to repair, they didn't have the same room type, and they couldn't give us a refund. So we decided to use the restroom on another floor and received a key to another floor. It was the end of the year, so the room wasn't cheap, but to get a room with a bathroom that wasn't even functional... It was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The floor was so dirty that the kids' bare feet got blackened.

One of the substandard hotel, no room service, no basic accessories in bath room , elevator not working. I would never recommend this hotel to any one.

From the moment we got there it was a mess. We arrived around 12 and were told we couldnt check in until 3. We had no car and it was hot as hell outside and they didnt care at all. No flexibility no help just told us to wait. We had to walk around for hours trying to figure out what to do. Once we checked in things just kept getting worse. Housekeeping was basically nonexistent. We stayed nine days and the room was barely cleaned unless we called multiple times. No regular room service no sweeping no mopping just new towels or sheets if we begged. Meanwhile they were cleaning other rooms that didnt even seem occupied while skipping ours. Ive never stayed at a hotel where you have to chase staff just to get basic cleaning. The elevator was another huge issue. It worked fine at first and then suddenly stopped working and stayed broken. This happened right after my mom had surgery. She was freshly operated and could barely walk and they expected her to go up and down five flights of stairs. Completely unacceptable. If your elevator doesnt work you should not be booking people on higher floors or at least be upfront about it. The room itself was falling apart. You couldnt have the TV and microwave on at the same time or the power would shut off. The AC randomly stopped working which is dangerous when someone is recovering from surgery. Maintenance came and didnt even know what was wrong and somehow it just turned back on. A drawer handle broke the first time we opened it and we had to call right away so they wouldnt think we broke it. We also paid for breakfast and there basically was no breakfast. Nothing like what was advertised. The ice machine was closed and blocked with boxes which is crazy in Miami heat. The laundry situation was the final straw. To use the washing machine you have to download an app that charged me twenty five dollars just to make an account. On top of that the machines barely worked. I paid multiple times and waited forever for cycles to start. Staff gave different explanations and clearly didnt know what they were talking about. When I asked for a refund they acted like they had never heard of the twenty five dollar charge even though it clearly happened. After waiting about thirty minutes for management they told me they could only refund four dollars. Four. My money is now stuck in an account for a service that didnt even work. Staff was rude dismissive and unhelpful the entire stay. Renovations are not an excuse for broken elevators no AC no cleaning and taking peoples money without refunding it. Do not stay here especially if you are traveling with someone recovering from surgery or if you expect basic cleanliness and honesty.
