Despite the reservation being confirmed in advance, the final price increased by approximately 8 percent. The room provided smelled and had no kitchen, even though the reservation was for a room with one. The room was changed, but there were no dishes. The invoice is only available on the last day, so if something goes wrong, there's no chance of changing anything. The convenient location is a plus.

Anyone looking for adventures à la Frankfurt's red-light district will definitely find them here. It starts with the approach, which, in Dortmund's rush-hour traffic, has a touch of GTA and an escape room. Nowhere on the website is it mentioned that the hotel uses the public parking garage behind it. Furthermore, you only realize the parking lot is there once you're INSIDE it. Since the hotel is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone, direct access by car is impossible. To make matters worse, the hotel's parking lot was closed, and I, as a woman, had to wander through the labyrinthine underground garage, where a new and exciting impression awaits behind every door. Sometimes it's the acrid stench of feces, sometimes an addict shooting up. When I mentioned it to the hotel staff, they suggested I call them. I did. Twice, without success. The area directly in front of the hotel entrance is just as lively as the parking garage. Homeless people throwing beer cans, drug-addled individuals shouting their philosophical musings at half of Dortmund's city center, teenagers fighting over 50 cents, and tourists exchanging bewildered glances. Well, the rooms are functional, but not particularly clean. The bed is about as firm as particleboard (but okay, that's subjective), and you have the choice between dim lighting or complete darkness; there's no in-between. It also takes some getting used to that the hotel is in the same building as the student dormitory. All in all, it was sufficient for one night, but I wouldn't recommend it or book it again.

The hotel is poorly signposted. Parking is limited. Getting there is difficult if directions aren't included. The postal address is unsuitable for GPS navigation.
