Basilica Holiday Resort

Quite loud on road side with traffic but great to watch everyone going by - lovely view of sea and hot on balcony. No sun on balcony but garden and swimming pool views on other side. Good supply of plates, pots and pans. Chambermaids do cleaning daily with new towels of required. Lovely ladies. Room spotless. Pool clean but cooler in march which is only to be expected. Came and fitted light to balcony for mom to read at night immediately we asked for one. Brilliant service, great for buses, historic basilica and St Paul’s pillar in garden behind hotel! 10 mins stroll to archaeological sites and great supermarket opposite- fantastic place

It's okay, that's all I can say. The large room, kitchen, and bedrooms are really nice, but the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. The service is really great and very friendly!! It's great that there's access to the gym and the pool is really high-quality and well-maintained. The location is perfect. I recommend it!

We stayed at Basilica Holiday Resort with my friend at the beginning of February, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very cozy and nicely located, opposite the supermarket Sklavenitis, which is extremely convenient. We chose it because it’s right in the central part of the city, and the location was perfect for us. We got an apartment with two bedrooms and a double bed, which was excellent for two girls. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. We especially loved that there was a bathtub and the water pressure was very strong and hot. The only small thing is that the reception told us we need to wait about 30 minutes for the boiler to heat the water, but once it was ready, the water was very hot and good. Our room had a view of the swimming pool in the yard, which was very nice. We also didn’t expect daily room service, but they cleaned every day and changed the towels daily, which we really appreciated. The room was always very clean and shiny. The apartment was fully equipped: kitchen with blender, kettle, TV, comfortable sofa, dining area, and even a hair dryer already included. This was a big plus, because in other hotels we had to pay extra for things like a kettle. They also provided shower gel, conditioner, and body cream. We were pleasantly surprised with some sweets as a gift from the hotel. There is a small parking area outside, but we always managed to find a place, even though the hotel was quite busy for February. We saw many guests using the gym and even swimming, so the hotel felt alive but still calm and quiet. The only things I missed were bathrobes and slippers, which would make the stay even more comfortable (we brought our own slippers). Overall, the hotel was very quiet, comfortable, clean, and well located. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again
