Arriving at this hotel in an extremely run-down neighborhood, we quickly threw our things in the room and had to leave again for our concert (Hans Zimmer was amazing). Afterwards, we walked back to the hotel and checked out our room. First of all, the "hotel rooms" are just ordinary apartment rooms where you walk through the creaky hallway and then find a cheap, flimsy wooden door that serves as the room entrance. You can't just close it; you have to lock it from both the inside and outside, otherwise everything is wide open. As soon as I got to the room, I realized I could hear the entire street, so I checked the window. While the window was "closed," I could almost push my entire finger through the seal; the window was completely drafty, and you could hear the whole street. The trash can hadn't been emptied, and there were strange black hairs in the bathroom and on the bed. There was mold in the shower. No electrical outlets, you could barely walk around the bed, and the room didn't even have a smoke detector. I should sue the hotel for this, which I'm currently considering. The whole hair situation was too much for us. I don't want to sleep on someone else's hair in my bed, especially not when I'm paying for it. I'd rather sleep in the car. Of course, no one at the hotel was reachable; we tried more than ten times. Then we wanted to leave because, as described, it was too disgusting. As we had repeatedly pointed out, we threw our key (by the way, you only get one, so as a smoker, you have to lock your partner in the room) into their box downstairs. We tried to leave the hotel, BUT NO, the hotel door was LOCKED FROM THE INSIDE, and we couldn't get out. After further attempts to contact someone at the hotel, I decided to knock on other guests' doors so we could somehow get out. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel. Just imagine what would happen in a fire at this hotel and how safe you'd be. ... Now for the only positive: After a very angry phone call to the hotel the next day, we got our money back without any fuss. Nevertheless, I advise you against ever staying at this hotel.
