Bella Beach - All Inclusive

Having returned from Bella Beach a few weeks ago, the return to reality has been a little difficult, as we had such an enchanting stay at this hotel – a must-see! Let's address the few negative points about this establishment first: - Firstly, some aspects of the hotel, particularly the bathroom in our room, will raise eyebrows among those who appreciate French 5-star hotels. Nothing that was a deal-breaker for us, as the bathroom was clean and functional, but its slightly dated feel deviates from the French standards of a "5-star" hotel. - It's also worth noting that the hotel is located directly under the approach path of Heraklion Airport, which means that numerous planes fly close to the hotel throughout the day. As with the bathroom, the disturbance is minimal because the planes are still quite high when seen from the hotel, but it's something any future guest should be aware of. Having addressed these minor inconveniences, it's time to move on to the hotel's many strengths! First of all, the staff is excellent, highly professional, yet always helpful, available, and smiling. All the hotel employees speak English, and some even speak very good French. Tonia, the manager, is incredibly attentive from morning till night. Evi, Hai, and Rubil were wonderful in the restaurant, setting our table and taking care of us. The hotel has three bars. Geo and Ioannis at the beach bar are always smiling, even when the wind is blowing a bit hard. I mustn't forget Vagos and Abdul at the pool bar, and especially the two Giorgos at the main bar, who had practically prepared our favorite drinks before we even arrived! The entertainment team, led by multilingual David, is always ready to offer both energizing and relaxing activities. Lara, Julia, and Max are tireless in their support. As for the food, it's excellent. Chef Petros takes exceptional care of his guests, offering a variety of different dishes at each meal, in addition to the standard buffet staples typical of this type of establishment. The poolside restaurant is open until 5:00 PM, which is very convenient when we returned famished from an excursion in Crete. It offers a true buffet with appetizers, main courses, and desserts, not just two or three dishes that are always the same, as I've seen in other similar establishments. Finally, the two restaurants, offering a Greek or seafood menu, are delicious and generous, and not enjoying them during your stay would be a shame. Besides the competence of its staff and the quality of its food, the hotel boasts a prime location and excellent facilities. Indeed, it has a private beach with direct access from the hotel, which isn't the case for all Cretan hotels. Snorkeling enthusiasts shouldn't forget their equipment, as it's already possible to observe numerous fish just ten meters from the beach. The swimming pool is large enough to swim comfortably alongside other hotel guests. The hotel spa, managed by the ever-smiling Natalia, is a haven of peace with its heated pool and the expert hands of its masseuses. Finally, if you've rented a car, which I recommend for exploring the many facets of this part of Crete, it will be sheltered from the sun in the shaded parking lot located directly opposite the hotel entrance. As you can see, we had a wonderful stay as a couple between September 6th and 20th, 2025. This establishment is a must if you want to discover Crete while enjoying its facilities and staff. Don't miss it when planning your trip!

A human-sized hotel, very clean, and the food and drinks were quite good for an all-inclusive. Special thanks to Giorgos. The location is perfect, just 20 minutes from the airport. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom. Thanks also to the entertainment team! 👍 We had a very pleasant 15-day stay, and the hotel's beach access was a real plus.

This hotel is extremely outdated: window frames need replacing, paint is missing from almost all the woodwork, and the indoor pool is gloomy. The all-inclusive drinks are of mediocre quality—surely the cheapest alcohol in Greece! The facilities were closed several days before closing time. Only the food saves the day. It's not worth the price, especially when booked through LUXAIR Tours.
