Important note: We booked Bella Villa Hotel, but when we arrived there was no staff present. One very rude employee pointed us to the next hotel saying, “There! There!” It turns out we were actually placed in Best Bella, not Bella Villa, which was confusing and not explained properly. Pros • Large room – The room was spacious and comfortable. • Good layout – The room itself was nice, just quite old. • Great pool – The pool area is very good. • Excellent location – Very close to the beach. • Nice breeze – The area gets a pleasant breeze that most of Pattaya does not get. • Breakfast selection – Good variety of food at breakfast. Cons • Extremely rude staff – I have never experienced such consistently rude behavior. Staff ignored guests asking questions and even waved their hands at people as if signaling them to go away. • Poor communication – At check-in, nothing was explained. The receptionist did not make eye contact and seemed angry the whole time. I had to ask about breakfast time, pool location, laundry, etc. • 500 baht deposit for one key card – Excessive for a single key. • Towels and soap – We had to repeatedly ask for soap and fresh towels. • No beach towels provided automatically – You must collect them from reception only between 9 am and 10 am. If you miss it, it is “not their problem.” • Toilet paper issue – Only one very small roll for two days. Bring your own to be safe. • Inconsistent water bottles – Supposed to receive two small glass bottles daily, but sometimes we got one or none. • “Water fountain” issue – The water appears to be tap water. It smells and tastes like mud, similar to the sink water. It does not seem safe to drink. • Breakfast staff behavior – Plates were aggressively thrown into carts when clearing tables, sometimes breaking or cracking. Many cracked plates were washed and reused. It felt disrespectful both to guests and to hotel property. • Checkout charge – We were charged 10 baht for one glass water bottle that we placed in the trash. Apparently, they must be left outside the room, but this was never explained. If there are so many rules, clear written instructions in the room would help. Overall This hotel could be fine if you only need a place to sleep and plan to be out most of the day. The location, pool, and room size are good. However, do not expect warm service or helpful staff. The consistent rudeness and lack of communication really affect the overall experience and atmosphere.

The hotel is very run-down. The pool is practically unusable and uninviting. The breakfast buffet is far below average and much less than excellent. Overall, the hotel's condition does not meet expectations. On the positive side: The location is very good and the view from the room was lovely. I will not be booking this hotel again.

Positive: The location. 7 minutes to the nearest beach, 10-15 minutes to town. The public restrooms near the pool were clean and well-maintained. Small kitchen with a refrigerator. Two free bottles of water per day. Negative: Check-in takes place at the neighboring hotel. The staff there are not very communicative. The first room we received was extremely run-down and dirty. The air conditioner smelled so strongly when turned on that we couldn't use it. The bed wasn't freshly made. It smelled like someone had already slept in it and was completely wrinkled. After complaining, we received a new room. This was somewhat better, but still run-down and not clean. The grout in the pool was green. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not book it again.
