I was there for 10 days for diving. That means I didn't experience much of the daytime program, but I did enjoy the evenings. 1. The location is fantastic. Situated at the far end of Sheraton Road, it offers relative peace and quiet while still being close to the hustle and bustle. Restaurants and bars (outside the hotel) are easily accessible. My room was okay by Egyptian standards. Tiled floors, everything a bit worn, but perfectly acceptable. The Wi-Fi deserves special mention; it worked really well everywhere, with acceptable speeds. What wasn't so great was the restaurant. Besides a live cooking station where you get the feeling that every bite served is deducted from their wages, the selection is as limited as the seating. You sit crammed together. There doesn't seem to be any table service; at least, I didn't experience any. The food itself certainly isn't outstanding—a bit below average, after eight trips to Hurghada—but perfectly edible. The Christmas and New Year's decorations were absolutely awful everywhere, and this was already at the beginning of December. The same (seemingly) seven Christmas carols played constantly from speakers throughout the entire hotel, from morning till night. No breaks, no variety. There's a kids' club, a beach volleyball court (one court), a gym, and a pool table and ping-pong table. Yeah, it's okay.

Great hotel in the heart of the city, 15 minutes from the airport. The food was good, but as with all-inclusive hotels, it was often the same. We visited the heated pool in December and the water was warm. There's a beach on the hotel grounds. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily. The only downside was the lack of entertainment.

I stayed at the Bella Vista three times with my family. Each time I gave the hotel a chance and was disappointed. I'm referring entirely to the STAFF! You simply have no privacy because they feel the need to gossip about almost every guest and interfere in private matters that are none of their business! In other countries, you would never dream of asking personal questions that could put you in an uncomfortable situation. To the management: Talk to your staff! They should do what they're paid to do and mind their own business. Especially the rude "Big Boss" who thought he had to greet the women with a kiss on the cheek. What does he think he's doing??? These are GUESTS!!! Not friends!
