An experience to forget. Very poor and unhelpful service; they sell one image, but in practice it's a rip-off for the customer.

Don't be fooled, Misleading advertising, the photos don't match reality, broken chairs, musty smell, lack of hygiene, where breakfast is supposedly served they also serve people from the street without any kind of service or space for people to even cross paths! They say they have access for people with reduced mobility… a lie, the stairs are very narrow and spiral! They say they have 24-hour reception… a lie, we waited more than 2 hours for someone to come and check-in and check-out were done on the street! Not to mention that we had to sleep with the air conditioning on cold, the door open due to excessive condensation, we needed a blanket and had to keep warm with the robes, one of which was dirty and without a drawstring!! It's regrettable, the city is beautiful and the people are very welcoming except for this poorly maintained "guest house"!!

We only intended to stay for two nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay. The rooms and the rooftop terrace are beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. There's probably no other hotel in Monopoli right on the seafront with such a breathtaking view. The "tourist trap" claim is nonsense. Here in Italy, every restaurant charges a premium. The owners are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful, and absolutely accommodating in fulfilling our every wish as guests in the off-season. In short: highly recommended!
