Belstay Milano Linate

Pros • Extremely courteous and professional staff in all departments • Convenient location for work and close to Linate Airport • Small but very well-maintained gym, with new, smart equipment (entertainment during workouts) • Near the Idroscalo, great for a morning run • Quiet rooms • Well-soundproofed meeting room • Late check-out available (for a fee) Cons • Industrial area, unattractive exterior • Not a luxury hotel: more functional than scenic • Long and rather narrow meeting room, suitable for small groups • Decent breakfast but limited selection I stayed one night at the Belstay Milano for work, and we also used the meeting room for an internal meeting. The property is located in an industrial area, so it's not a hotel you choose for its setting or aesthetics, but for its comfort and functionality, and in this respect it meets the needs of business travelers well. I was very impressed by the staff's courtesy, always helpful and professional: from the reception to the restaurant, to the room staff. The meeting room, located on the ground floor, is well-insulated from the rooms. It has two entrances on opposite sides and is lengthwise; one of the long sides overlooks the parking lot. It is suitable for workshops and small group work (about 20 people). It works well in an auditorium-style configuration, but may be less practical for group work or frequent movement. The gym is also very good: small but well-maintained, with modern equipment and entertainment options during workouts. Its proximity to the Idroscalo airport is also excellent, making it ideal for a morning run. In short, it's not a super-luxury hotel, but a practical and reliable facility, ideal as a base for business trips, internal meetings, or for those catching a flight from Linate. It's less suitable for those looking for a prestigious location or a more sophisticated experience.

I always enjoy staying at Belstay, both in Assago and Linate. Thanks to Federica for the welcome we had for dinner tonight. The kindness is five-star!

The location perfect, prices are very cheap but the service…. It’s just horrible, I have no words to explain how the service is. I can imagine maybe they got tired of too much tourists. Cleaning lady everyday wakes us up by knocking the door like she is about to break it, even tho we have put the sign “don’t disturb” but that woman doesn’t care… In the night shifts an Indian guy works in reception and that guy ruins the reputation of this hotel even more.
