Bendis Beach

Nice and clean rooms,ice cold A/C, good kitchen, really lovely service people, romantic atmosphere due to garden, really good price/quality ratio - been in lot of 4* hotels but this one gave more than i expected.I strongly recommend this place.♥️

I'd like to express a serious complaint about the Bendis Beach Hotel, where we stayed during the week of September 22nd. We went as a family of three. The first positive aspect of the hotel was that the reception staff accommodated our request for a ground-floor room because we are disabled. From the moment we entered the rooms, we noticed that the cleanliness and hygiene were extremely poor. The linens were clean. However, the yellowed toilets in the bathrooms, the water flowing from doorless shower stalls, and the poor hygiene in the common areas were unacceptable. The water in the bathroom was extremely salty. The water in the bathroom tasted almost identical to the water in the hotel pool. They claimed it came from a well. We ignored most of these concerns for the first two days simply because we were together as a family. We brushed our teeth with drinking water and bathed our baby with drinking water. However, the constant lack of even basic necessities like forks and spoons at lunch and dinner times became unacceptable. When we brought these issues to the staff manager, Mr. Tacettin, instead of offering a solution, we were met with a patronizing and condescending attitude. "Customers steal, yeaaağğ..." he replied with a laugh. This is a situation no guest wants to experience. Why would anyone steal cutlery? If there's a shortage, but I'm paying the same price and getting the same service, shouldn't the hotel provide it for me? They've completely ignored everything because it's closing season. When I complained about these things, they brought plastic spoons from the supermarket. People ate their hot soup with plastic spoons. There were no kettles in the rooms. The TVs were bad. There were no guest activities. One night, a dance group came, supposedly for a Turkish night, and that's all. If we could find a place for all of us in Bodrum, we would have changed hotels, but despite the support of the ETS tour staff, we couldn't find any. We also thank RIFAT for his attention. He went out of his way to ensure we had a happy holiday. Unfortunately, neither the hotel manager nor the hotel staff contacted us when we complained. All they did was accept a refund for the remaining days, but we couldn't find a place in Bodrum that week, so we couldn't go. We had to because our plane tickets were purchased in advance. I'm only including some of the photos here, which clearly show the negative experiences we had. You might say this is the service for this price. Our relatives who stayed at the same hotel two months before us were very pleased. My parents had also stayed there two years ago. We came on their recommendation. There's a huge difference between the hotel they described and the one we saw. If I'd read the reviews before arriving, I would never have listened to my family. Now, let's get to the good parts... The sea was beautiful. It's Bodrum anyway, so to speak. They had set up a hut right by the sea, where you could buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There were no ice cream or anything like that. There were enough sun loungers. The smiles and effort of the staff clearing and mopping the tables, and working at the bar were truly admirable. 🫶🏼 They start at 7:30 in the morning. The same staff work non-stop until 12:00 at night. Despite this, they were very friendly. Especially Mr. Berke at the bar, Mr. Ali, the guy with the green glasses whose name I can't recall, our beautiful girl with wavy black hair who clears the tables, the other waitresses, and the guy who cleaned our room. You are all amazing. 🩷 We truly congratulate each and every one of you for your efforts. May life always bring you beauty. May you continue to be successful. We will never choose Bendis Beach again. I hope they take some action before their other guests arrive...
