I had a very disappointing experience at Bens Hotel Recoleta Park in Buenos Aires. The hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but the reality was completely different. From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong unpleasant smell, the place looked run-down and poorly maintained, and the beds were sinking and uncomfortable, making it impossible to rest properly. The overall condition of the hotel felt neglected and far below any reasonable 4-star standard. Because of these conditions, we checked out the very next day, returned the keys, and clearly informed the staff that we could not stay. However, despite leaving after one night, the hotel kept the full payment for six nights. We did not receive any refund or even a partial refund, and our attempts to resolve this were ignored. This experience felt misleading and unfair, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic comfort, cleanliness, or honest business practices.
