BeSS Mansion Hotel Surabaya

I've stayed here twice and been greeted by name during breakfast. The service is excellent, the swimming pool is spacious and the sunset is very beautiful. The rooms are cool, there is a playground suitable for my children. My husband is the happiest because there is a lot of gym equipment. This hotel is highly recommended.

It was a memorable experience, as my grandchildren were all delighted. The pool was beautiful, the room was comfortable, and the service was friendly and kind. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I didn't mind paying an additional 150,000 Rupiah, as the variety was extensive and the red chicken feet were delicious.

It was my first time staying but I was really disappointed.. I stay in 3 and 4 star hotels every month, this was the first time I was very dissatisfied with both the room and the service in the restaurant during breakfast. The hot water in the room was not hot at all, waiting 10 to 15 minutes for it to get hot and the tap water in the sink was very cloudy like the JAGIR river water. And what I was most disappointed with was when I was in the restaurant, especially after breakfast, I was reprimanded without proof that I shared food. I stayed with 3 children. 10, 8 and 5 years old, got free breakfast, my husband and my 5 year old child, at that time I had breakfast first with my 5 year old child then my husband followed. My two children, 10 and 8 years old, were swimming. Long story short, I had finished breakfast with my 5 year old child, my child and I went out and sat outside near the stairs leading to the swimming pool, and near the guard table. I came out after finishing breakfast without bringing any food at all, I didn't even bring any drinks, only my 5 year old son brought the remaining 1 piece of crepes, because he hadn't finished it yet he came out with me, then I took care of my two children who were swimming to change clothes immediately after that I took my 8 year old son to the table where his younger sibling was waiting, my 10 year old son hadn't finished changing clothes so I left him and sat there. Not long after I sat down I was reprimanded that I was asked to pay 80 or 85 thousand for sharing food. It was clear that I didn't bring any restaurant food out. Never mind food and drinks, I didn't even bring any. It turns out that the employee named Septi took issue with my 5 year old son giving a piece of crepe to his older brother. Because my son suddenly fed crepes to his older brother I thought it was normal, it turns out it violates hotel rules it seems.. There should be a standard for sharing food that is not allowed, what is it like, unless I bring food a lot of rice, a lot of cakes, lots of fruit and pudding for me to eat outside for my son who didn't get breakfast then I was reprimanded... Logically if I brought food from inside how could I sit outside near the restaurant guard.. Where I sat in front of the employee's eyes... STUPID. and it doesn't make sense. In fact I was the one complaining because my stay was not comfortable at all. Even though I stayed in a suite type in room 3509...
