Best Western Hotel Braunschweig Seminarius

We had a truly perfect stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. We would especially like to commend the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff at reception. They took plenty of time for us and even proactively pointed out the sauna – a real highlight that made our stay even more relaxing. The entire hotel was well-maintained, quiet, and inviting. You can immediately tell that service is a top priority here. We felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We would love to return!

The hotel has 3 stars, and I had zero expectations. The welcome from the reception staff was an immediate plus. Very friendly, helpful, competent, and genuine. The room was typical 3-star standard. I was lucky enough to have a rainforest shower, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the rooms without this special shower have minimal water pressure. The highlight for me was the sauna, but before I even went in, I encountered an angel at reception. So caring, so helpful, and pure empathy. Bettina Schumburg showed me a level of hospitality I might not have experienced until 20 years ago. Wow. Her name is probably listed in the dictionary as a description of hospitality. Thank you so much. For the sake of completeness, I should mention that there's a sauna, billiards, foosball, darts, and even a bowling alley for guests. Except for the bowling alley, I'm certain it's free. I haven't had a chance to use the bowling alley yet. The sauna is great, clean, and spacious. There are also fantastic rainforest showers here. There's also a gym right next door for €5. Free parking is another big plus. The breakfast is perfectly adequate for a 3-star hotel, in some parts even above average. However, the cheese selection is just about acceptable. But overall, the selection is really extensive. Especially the bread rolls and other items, as well as the tea, coffee specialties, and juices. Truly exemplary. All in all, my conclusion: Reception staff 5* Bar staff + breakfast 4.5* Housekeeping 4-4.5* Room cleanliness 4.5* Technician 4* Sauna 5* Breakfast 4.5* Elevator (3-4 people) available. Modern meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Cozy and very modern bar. Coffee specialties and tea available from two machines. Overall ambiance of public areas: 5 stars. The surroundings are quiet with no disturbing noises or anything like that. That concludes my novel; I hope it helps someone. 😊

The room was clean and a good size. Looking into the bathroom, I felt like the toilet belonged in a dwarf's paradise. For me, with back problems (I'm 1.75m tall), it was almost impossible to get down from there on my own. There was also room for improvement at breakfast.
