There were many things we didn't like. Neither the hot water nor the heating worked, which is a known problem. Also, the rooms were different than described.

Review: City Break Bremen – Best Western Zur Post Hotel Review of our stay in December 2025 / January 2026 General Impression For our city break to Bremen, we chose the Best Western Zur Post Hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, although there were some very positive aspects as well as a few drawbacks. Room Temperature & Heating Unfortunately, the room temperature was noticeably low during our stay. The hot water in the bathroom was also only lukewarm. After contacting reception, we were informed that the hotel was currently fully booked and the heating system was having difficulty adequately heating all the rooms. This was particularly noticeable on the cold January days and affected our comfort in the room. Staff The hotel staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and courteous. Our requests were always met with a friendly response, and solutions were offered whenever possible. Breakfast Buffet An absolute highlight of our stay was the breakfast buffet. The selection was excellent and left nothing to be desired – from fresh fruit and various pastries to hot dishes, everything was available. The presentation was appealing, and the quality of the food was very good. In conclusion, the Best Western Zur Post Hotel impresses above all with its friendly staff and outstanding breakfast buffet. However, the issue of the room being too cold and the only lukewarm hot water somewhat dampened our stay. Those who place particular importance on a good breakfast and can tolerate potential shortcomings in the room heating will find this a solid accommodation option for a city break in Bremen.
