This is a lovely hotel although we were spoiled. It all started our first night after a long flight from Los Angeles landing at around 3:00 pm and not going to bed until midnight. The bedrooms have glass doors at the back that open up to a small patio then a grass field. At about 3:00 am, we were woken up by some random trying to get into our room through our glass doors. He was vigorously shaking on the door handles trying to get in. I was out of it but once I got up, he went away. We found out that as the hotel allows dogs, we figured out that this was our neighbor who took his dog out to pee in the middle of the night and tried to get back into our room by mistake. I did bring this up to the front desk (they asked how I slept) and they promptly asked if we'd like to move into a bigger room. They ended up putting us in this beautiful huge suite (of which there are only 2 or 3) that was amazing. We stayed in that room for the remainder of our stay at the hotel. Our rate/room came with breakfast which is the typical English breakfast. It was made to order and it was very good. The other food seemed like it could have been purchased from Costco - croissants, cheese, yogurt etc. They have a lovely bar for cocktails and the grounds of the hotel are spectacular.

We visited Warner Studios Tour and this is a lovely place to stay, not far from the studio but in a beautiful peaceful location. Feels like you are right in the quiet countryside. The hotel is a country house set in beautiful gardens. We dined in the restaurant, good was lovely and staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are separate to the main building staying in the garden lodge. It was nice and quiet and comfortable, very clean but decor could do with an update which isn't major. We stayed only for the one night and slept really well. Didn't try the breakfast. The place is dog friendly and there are lovely walks around. I would recommend.
