Best Western Plus Meadowlands

Friendly staff, great location. Walk to a ton of shops and restaurants.

Very good clean rooms. Staff were pleasant and cordial. Good safe parking and centrally located with easy access to public transportation. Decent breakfast with many options. Gets a bit crowded in the morning but they open up the conference rooms that has plenty of space. Coffee and Hot Chocolate available from a machine 24x7 so a good way to get refreshed or take something for the road. The elevators were a bit slow, but otherwise worked very well. Nothing much else to complain about.

The room was very clean. Everything seemed fresh ! Thank you ! The parking lot feels safe and is free ! The tv is out dated, nothing smart, and there was some strange phone line issue I was on the 7th floor to the right of the hallway. I think I was the last on the left side or one more. 708 maybe 🤔 Anytime I tried to use the phone there was an audio playing when I picked it up. It was broadcasting news information talked about someone’s murder, so creepy and politics. I only called the front desk 2x. The second day when I called the woman was rude and said she couldn’t hear me, and that she would need to call me back, that’s when I knew the phone was tampered with. I initially thought it was a hotel or jersey thing as this is my first time here. I walked down to the front desk and the Latin woman made ugly faces at me and neither of the two came off helpful, even though they were just standing around talking to one another, not even attempting to call me back. A young man was there and he was kind and came to check out my issue on the phone line. I appreciate him. My second morning there I knew to get breakfast early. Around 6:10 am I was downstairs, the 3rd person. I got a couple scoops of eggs pork sausage and a bowl of oatmeal with bananas ! I got so sick from the breakfast ! 3 hours later at 9:00 am I woke up vomiting in New Year’s Eve. No I didn’t drink alcohol or eat anything else that day. I believe the sausage links were old. I was terribly sick! I wouldn’t touch that breakfast at 6am 7 8 or 9am. I also didn’t like the way the cook looked at me. Then I got sick ! 🤢 But if You are looking for a clean hotel this is it but the breakfast isn’t being handled properly! They have a 24 hour coffee machine that has pretty good coffee! It’s honestly cleaner than most hotels. I would stay again. It’s very clean fresh sheets and towel and safe feelings ! That’s so important when staying at a hotel. So is breakfast and untapped phone lines but it’s hard to get it all. I wish I knew the males name at the front desk he was awesome and who ever makes the beds and cleans the room they are a great asset to this establishment! I loved the view from my window ! 🪟 I would stay here again
