My first experience of Hilton's Hotel was my on birthday. Compared to other hotel brands, they didn't do anything. The double room had sea view, and everything was new. Unfortunately the heater couldn't work with an error code shown on the screen of the air conditioning. I first called reception but no response, and I found them in person they said they could fix even when I was out. After going back from dinner, the heater was fine but shortly the same error occurred again. Called them successfully this time, and the heater ran again, but didn't work again. I then asked the receptionist if there were other solutions as that problem could only repeat if it was fixed on their side. He suggested changing the room. Unfortunately, the second room and the same issue. The third room too. I told him it could be in every room. He then arranged me an additional heater and asked for the maintenance but would need hours to come and fix. (It worked well in the following morning). I would like to show appreciation for the staff member Sahil, who was trying his best to address my issue. But the problem was there was only one staff member in the evening and the backup heater was far away so team members could take a lot of time to get, and customers had to wait for long. From my experience in other hotels, even Travelodge was able to make it shortly. The hotel should have a workflow in case when the heating system couldn't work, allowing the staff to handle easily within a shorter period of time and minimise the impact on customers. Because normal heating, no matter how it is reliable, can happen someday and customers' health and wellbeing can be affected. It would be better if the bathroom had heating system too, or heated floor. I also realize there are rooms with bathtubs, while some rooms are without refrigerators but the official website or the booking websites fail to state explicitly. Sound proof could be better as I was able to hear the guest in other room. That's said, the overall stylish design with modernisation (alarm, electric heating, lighting...) was lovely, especially the smart TV which could allow casting so that I could enjoy my MUBI movies on the big screen. Once again! Thanks Sahil and other staff members for contributing to the staying experience.
