- We booked room 407, a three-bed room including a 4-year-old girl. The air conditioning wasn't working in the room during the winter, on one of the coldest days. We reported it, they said they would look into it, and then they stopped answering the phone. I went down to reception, and they said the technician would only be available the next day. They also refused to change rooms, citing lack of availability. The next day, the technician came but couldn't fix it. Again, no room change was made. I was staying in room 307, and the hairdryer there wasn't working either. Again, they couldn't fix it. I chose Best Western because it's a chain hotel and I expected certain standards, but the wallpaper was peeling, the air conditioner was leaking a terrible smell, dust was stuck to the vents, and the bathroom towels were as small as face towels and worn out! Now, let's talk about the restaurant... The children (aged 4, 11, and 13) ordered pizza. When I went down to the restaurant, I saw it was pork. I respect that, but we don't eat it. The kids asked using Google Translate, and they said bacon, not pork :) The QR code on the menu lists the ingredients, but it only shows mozzarella and sauce options. I called the manager. Their response is shown in the picture! Is that even a valid response? Then, as an apology, they sent two fruit plates – you should have seen the fruit! :) This hotel is a complete disaster!
