We don't think this hotel deserves a 4-star rating at all, and the price for one night is far too high for what you get: €214.50 for a standard room, including breakfast, tax, and our dog's stay. We booked this hotel to walk our dog in the beautiful forest, which was a great success given the hotel's prime location. We also wanted to enjoy the pool and relax in the sauna, but that was a huge disappointment. The pool was teeming with screaming children without their parents. There's no hotel supervision, and children were queuing outside the sauna to get in. After 10 minutes, we went back to our room. We deliberately chose this hotel for the pool, which ultimately proved to be a huge disappointment. We therefore advise any older person against choosing this hotel for the pool, where they can relax after a long forest walk. The room is dated and basic, the TV tiny, and the bathroom. The decor by Rivièra Maison is not to be taken seriously. The curtain in the room didn't close properly, so I couldn't close it completely, which was very annoying if, like us, you have a ground-floor room. The worst part, for us, was that you have to check out at 11:00 AM. That's just how it is, you might think, but if you then take your things out of your room and to the car, and at 1:11 AM, the room is no longer accessible, the dog is still in it, along with some of your belongings, that's incredibly unfriendly, and you should have clearly communicated this beforehand so they could be prepared. So I went to the reception, and they reactivated my card with an irritated look on their face, as if it was our fault we couldn't get into the room. Brrrrr...how awful. We will definitely never choose this hotel again. I do want to end on a somewhat positive note by mentioning that the parking was well-organized, and we give the breakfast a 10+.
