Black Art Otel

The hotel is just a quick walk near to Istiklal street (THE happening place). The rooms were crisp clean and covered more the average facilities that you’d find anywhere else. Rezan and Baris were really helpful throughout, even after checkout they helped us with places around and hosting our luggage for the day!! Definitely check out this place for a 1 or 2 day stay

Unfortunately, we're currently moving to another hotel, as we decided not to renew this one. We initially booked for two nights so we wouldn't have to commit to a room for the entire trip. And it turned out to be a great decision. The room was very noisy. The windows overlook a small alley next to a busy road, and there was constant traffic and horns blaring. Plus, there was noise under the windows from the market cleaning. All night long. Also, there's a finger-sized hole in the bottom of the front door, which can be heard through every footstep and conversation of guests in the hallway, on the stairs, and in the room across the street. We didn't really sleep well both nights. The threshold in the bathroom was falling off, and we bruised our feet on it. When we checked in, we asked for an extra blanket. At first, they said yes, no problem. Then they said there were no blankets, and the hotel was full, so there was no way to get one. I checked the hotel's occupancy on Booking.com, and it turned out there were rooms available. When we asked for a blanket for the third time, they found one. The internet also went out on the second evening. During cleaning, they put bundles of luggage on the stairs, and you have to be very careful when going down the stairs with bags to avoid tripping and falling. We do not recommend this hotel.
