I gifted my partner a Dublin trip for his birthday, and this was our first time visiting Dublin. I found Blooms Hotel via Booking.com and the price–performance ratio was excellent. The location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is right in the city center, with countless pubs and restaurants nearby – including the famous Temple Bar, which is just a one-minute walk away. Trinity College, the Hard Rock Café, shopping streets, sightseeing spots and a parking garage are all close by. We were able to explore everything on foot, which made the stay very convenient. We stayed one night and had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony and a great city view. The room itself is a bit dated and the bathroom could be better, so I can’t give full points there – but for the price, it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was simple but typical Irish/British style – nothing fancy, but you can’t complain. Upon arrival, we also received vouchers for a free beer or drink of choice, which was a great extra, especially since the hotel has its own bar with live TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At check-in, a €50 security deposit is required (cash or credit card). We paid cash and received it back easily at check-out. I can definitely recommend Blooms Hotel – fantastic location, friendly staff, and an amazing value for money.
