Blue Boat Design Hotel

It's unclear why this hotel has so few reviews and ratings. Perhaps because it's not offered as part of a tour. You have to book it yourself, which is what we did and haven't regretted it once. I'd like to point out right away that we spend a lot of time actively relaxing, not just sitting in our rooms watching TV, and not focusing on cracks here and there, a worn rug there, and other such trivialities. We stayed at this hotel for 14 nights (February 2026). So, the hotel is excellent. We got a corner room on the 5th floor with a city view, a bit of sea and Ko Lan Island visible (the sunsets are incredible). On the other side, there was also a view of the city and the Sanctuary of Truth. The room was cleaned EVERY DAY! Towels were always clean, the bed linen was changed daily (I don't know if you need that), and the water was always on. Everything worked perfectly: the air conditioning, toilet, and shower. There's a balcony, and we put our chairs from the room there and sometimes sat there in the evenings. Breakfasts are simple, but everything you need is there: four types of eggs cooked to order, bread, fresh vegetables, fruit, rice, noodles, and plenty of Thai food, pastries, tea, coffee, juices, and more. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. (The air conditioning is on; we wore a sweater and pants). There's also a kettle in the room with refillable tea, coffee, and sugar. The pool is incredible. We often went there at lunchtime to cool off when it was impossible to be outside. There are lounge chairs in both the sun and shade. The panoramic 360-degree view of the city and the sea is beautiful. Towels are available. The hotel's location is also a huge plus. It's located in the northern part of the city; a 50-meter walk takes you to a tuk-tuk station, allowing you to reach almost any point in the city: the central beach, Pratumnak, Jomtien, and more. The train station, from where we took the bus to Bangkok, is nearby. There are plenty of cafes and the large Terminal Shopping Center. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Wongamat Beach. We hardly saw any dogs in this area, unlike, for example, Pratumnak, where people can't sleep at night because of their barking. There are also no 18+ establishments nearby with half-naked women and loud music. Overall, the nights were quite peaceful; we slept very well and were undisturbed.

Super cool hotel! Polite staff 🙏🏾 They help with everything! The rooms are cleaned perfectly! ☺️ The breakfasts are divine.

The room doesn't look new, as seen in the photo. It feels old.
