Hotel Chin-Chin impresses with its beautiful, spacious, and very clean rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The à la carte breakfast is good, and the location is extremely central – perfect for exploring the city. However, the hotel is located directly above a bar, making it very noisy until about 4:00 a.m. The street traffic is also clearly audible. Therefore, the hotel is unfortunately not recommended for light sleepers or those who value absolute peace and quiet. Overall, it's good for a short city break if you don't require a lot of sleep, but unsuitable for those seeking tranquility.

The service was excellent; I've rarely encountered such pleasant hotel staff. The rooms were large and well-modernized. The location is right in the heart of Regensburg, and there's a cozy restaurant/bar attached to the hotel.

I travel a lot for work (over 80 hotel nights a year) and therefore experience a great many hotels – which is why I want to give special praise to this hotel in Regensburg's old town. I received a warm welcome upon arrival: A gentleman at the door (presumably the owner) was on the phone but immediately stopped the call and greeted me personally. The attentive service continued at reception: "Mr. Kronsbein, did you have a good journey? Did you find everything?" – that's true hospitality and attention to detail. The initial phone call regarding parking was also excellent: I was easily reachable and received clear information right away. Upon arrival, I was even escorted to my room, and everything was explained to me in detail – it's precisely these little touches that make all the difference. The room was very spacious, I received a complimentary upgrade (thank you!), and the building itself is beautiful: This successful blend of historical architecture and modern comfort, without sacrificing its charm, is truly something special. The reception staff were also very helpful. In conclusion: A hotel that is not only beautiful, but also offers a level of service that is no longer a given, even in many 5-star hotels. A clear recommendation – I would gladly return.
