Borgo Romantico Relais

It's become commonplace for photos of the property, especially the rooms, to be taken by photography wizards, only to be disappointed to see how shabby they actually are... BUT... oh, that's not the case at Borgo Romantico Green Relais at all! What a fantastic place! Every little detail in the rooms is thoughtful and tasteful, a truly pleasant surprise. The friendly and welcoming staff are incredibly attentive to their guests, making them feel welcome. Being just passing through, we didn't have time to explore the entire estate, but you can see at a glance that it's immaculately maintained and cared for. Thank you for your hospitality and the final surprise!

At the last minute, my partner and I decided to spend a weekend in a little place near the lake, and we chose this place somewhat by chance. We had a great time. The wine tasting was wonderful, the room was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious with a spectacular view, and the breakfast was exceptional, with vegan options and gluten-free and lactose-free options (very hard to find in many hotels). The gentleman at reception was very kind and helpful, and the young man in the breakfast room was very good, supervising and arranging everything impeccably! Well done, well done, well done! We'll be back soon to try the pool and other amenities like the sauna. In short, paradise! Congratulations!

A peaceful haven with exceptional hospitality and green charm We had a truly wonderful stay at Borgo Romantico Green Relais, and we can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and supported. The entire team – from the director to the reception and restaurant staff – went out of their way to accommodate our needs with a warm, personal touch. Their friendliness and attentiveness made a big difference and added a heartfelt dimension to our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully renovated, and in perfect working order. You can really feel the attention to detail and quality in the recent updates. Everything from the air conditioning to the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the room offered a serene and comfortable space to unwind after our days exploring the region. The setting of the hotel is simply enchanting – a historic 19th-century manor surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, just a short distance from Lake Garda. It’s the perfect balance between elegance and eco-conscious living. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is evident throughout, from refillable toiletry containers and organic food options to energy-saving systems and water conservation measures. As guests who value mindful travel, we deeply appreciated this. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Whether you want to hike or cycle through the hills, visit the lake, explore nearby Bardolino, or enjoy the water parks and Gardaland Resort, the location is ideal. Yet despite the many attractions nearby, the property itself feels calm and secluded – a true retreat. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with its fresh and local offerings, including vegetarian-friendly options. Parking was easy and free, and though we didn’t need it, it’s good to know they offer bike rentals and even car services upon request. The outdoor pool and hot tub area looked inviting and well-maintained, adding to the charm of this countryside relais. We left feeling rested, grateful, and eager to return. This is the kind of place you can recommend with confidence, whether for a romantic weekend, a quiet solo retreat, or a relaxing stop on a longer trip. We would return in a heartbeat.
