Wife and I had a great stay here over Thanksgiving 2025. We stayed 3 nights and left each day to meet family that were camping in Ocotillo Wells off road vehicle area. The facility is a little dated but very clean, indoors and out. The grounds are well taken care of. We ate breakfast each day at the hotel restaurant. Prices are good and the food was very good. Exp., I had a 3 egg omelet with tomato, bacon and cheese and it was $18.00 and came with toast and potatoes. More than enough to eat. The spa was closed when we were here. The heated pool and hot tub were clean too, although we did not use either. We highly recommend this resort and will stay again.

This place is such a disappointment. We visit Borrego often. We have friends that live here - they held their wedding Reception at this hotel. We wanted a nicer night of relaxation, and they suggested Borrego Springs Resort. Calling this a resort is a joke of the highest order. Best Western does a better job, across the board. The bathroom has mold thats been painted over. The air filter is filthy. There's no conditioner in the shower. The shower has poor pressure and does not get hot. They provide single use plastic travel size containers while claiming to care about their impact on the environment. The mini fridge has no temperature setting, and froze all of our drinks for the next day, ruining the majority of then. The pool is surrounded in chipped paint and the hot tub is full of sand and gravel. There is no breakfast. The beds are squishy, noisy springs, with 3 of those small hard hotel decorative pillows companies keep cheaping out with. The blackout curtains do NOT block out the lights that are kept on all night, despite being in a dark sky community. Checkout is at noon, both of our keycard stopped working at 11. 2 star hotel, 4 star price, 5 star ego. The management at this motel desperately requires your assistance. They are childlike, and need consequences applied to help them understand their responsibility to the community that supports them. Do your part to help them grow - take your business elsewhere. They simply want your money in exchange for the minimum effort possible. I'd rather drive to Palm Desert and back in the morning rather than stay here again. AVOID.

Great place, comfortable, quiet, clean , two swimming pools which are big enough to swim miles , tennis courts , peaceful , dark sky , close to great Mexican restaurant, good for cycling especially if you are nervous of traffic because there isn't much
