The night of December 21st to 22nd was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I booked this hotel to celebrate my partner's birthday. The reservation clearly stated that upon arrival we would be welcomed with a bottle of wine and a complimentary tapa to enjoy by the fireplace in the lounge, starting at 7:30 pm in the restaurant area. We arrived at 7:00 pm and found the hotel completely dark, with no staff, the dining room locked, and no prior notice. There was no welcome, no wine, no tapa, and no explanation. We couldn't even have a drink or dinner to celebrate the birthday, which was the main reason for our stay. The keys were left in a box, with no reception or assistance whatsoever. The room wasn't the one we had booked; it smelled strongly of sewage, and the bathrobes and cushions were stained, giving a very unpleasant impression of poor hygiene. I tried contacting the on-call number listed for incidents several times, but no one answered, which is especially serious if there had been an emergency. The situation was so stressful and disappointing that I suffered an anxiety attack when I realized that nothing I had booked or planned for was being provided. The breakfast the next day also didn't match what was advertised: there were no eggs, and the supposed orange juice was clearly powdered, very low-quality artificial juice. When the receptionist finally appeared at 11 a.m., far from taking responsibility, they tried to justify themselves by saying that what was listed on the reservation "wasn't their responsibility," but rather the platform's. A completely unacceptable response. As a "solution," they offered us a 50% discount to return another day, which I consider insufficient after the disappointment and terrible experience. And to make matters worse, I requested the invoice from the website where I made the reservation, and upon reviewing it, I saw that they charged me €8 for the bottle of wine that was supposedly a "compliment" from the hotel. I feel cheated and ripped off. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
