Boutique Hotel Re Enzo

Our stay at this property was marred by incidents that significantly compromised the quality of our stay. We had previously checked whether we could bring our small Chihuahua, and this was confirmed, with an additional €25 per night. Despite this, during breakfast we were publicly reprimanded by the staff, in a brusque and inappropriate manner, regarding the presence of our dog. No rules had been clarified beforehand, and the intervention, besides being embarrassing in front of other guests, revealed inconsistent and contradictory management of internal policies. Another source of disappointment was the services included in the package. Entrance to the Asinelli Tower was unavailable due to renovations: what disappointed us was not the closure itself, but the lack of promptness in informing us of this at the time of booking. When we asked for clarification, the response was given in an annoyed tone, as if we should have already been aware of the situation, without any attempt to offer an alternative or a courtesy to make up for the shortcoming. Regarding the welcome drink, the disappointment wasn't due to the modesty of the offer, but rather to the way it was presented to us: we were the ones who had to ask what was included, and the answer, almost reluctantly granted, was that they could offer us a drink, as if it were a request. This attitude we perceived as disrespectful and uncaring towards the guest. At checkout, despite having already paid for all extras and retained the receipts, we were faced with doubts and objections from the hotel, to the point that we were forced to search for them to present as proof. This behavior undermines the trust and respect that should form the basis of a customer relationship. In light of all this, we also believe that the €25 per night supplement for the dog is completely disproportionate, as it did not entail any additional service or special care. A stay that could have been pleasant turned into a series of poor service and lack of professionalism. With regret, we cannot recommend this property enough. We trust that the property will acknowledge this experience and learn from it, so that future guests can receive the attention and consideration we were denied.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. I'd call it more of a 3-star than a 4-star, but it's well-maintained and the rooms are clean. The shower is a bit small. Good breakfast. I recommend it.

The hotel is strategically located just steps from Via San Felice and a 10-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. The staff is polite, professional, and attentive to every guest's needs. The breakfast is plentiful and caters to all tastes. The rooms are well-appointed and clean. Highly recommended!
