The hotel is ideally located for hiking. It was already open (end of February). The staff is exceptionally friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The rooms are small, but bright and pleasantly furnished. They are cleaned daily and are clean. The entire hotel gives a well-maintained impression, and the staff are friendly. Negative: Upon arrival, you are dropped off the bus about 250 meters from the hotel, as buses are not allowed to stop directly in front of the hotel. At 7:30 a.m., it was impossible to get coffee at the hotel. We were advised to find a café outside. Breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. Even before then, a very long line forms in front of the dining room. Despite four automatic coffee machines, there are still long waiting times. At dinner at 6:30 p.m., there are again long lines. Room numbers are checked, and the wait is sometimes 45 minutes or more. Some guests have to wait until a table becomes available. Furthermore, the staff can barely keep up with replenishing the buffet in time. We travel a lot, but we have never experienced such a situation before. Therefore, we would not recommend this hotel and wonder what it must be like during peak season. February 2026

Avoid booking this hotel. They've clearly cut corners on quality. The service staff are practically running around the restaurant trying to keep up. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, it's completely overcrowded. Getting a coffee becomes an ordeal. In the evenings, you can only hope that you a) get a table and b) don't have the air conditioning blasting in your face. The room cleaning is mediocre at best. How this hotel manages to claim four stars is beyond me. Realistically, it's just a mediocre place to stay, better suited for a stopover than a week's holiday.
