DO NOT STAY HERE We were due to stay at Breeze Inn on 5 January after travelling from visiting family over Christmas, with our two small children and our dog. We booked our room back in November to ensure everything was organised for our trip and to spend some beach time with our kids before returning to routine. New owners took over the property on 1 January. On 3 January, we received a call confirming our booking for two adults and a dog. I advised that our booking clearly included two children, as stated at the time of booking. We were then told this information had not been recorded properly by the previous owners and that the room was “too small” for two children. Instead of offering an alternative room to correct their mistake, the new owner attempted to charge an additional $150, just two days before our arrival, during the busiest time of the year. As we are on a set budget and this was not our error, I explained that we should be moved to a suitable room at no extra cost. The owner then hung up the phone, refused to answer further calls, and shortly after sent a text message advising our booking had been cancelled and refunded. This left our family — with two young children and a dog — without accommodation days before arrival in peak season. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic care shown was shocking. No assistance or alternatives were offered. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Great value for money - clean , comfortable rooms for a good price. Close to town and the water . Run by fantastic people who went above and beyond to help us with our boat at night when we needed it . 100% recommend staying here . will be back again soon 10/10
