The location of the hotel is totally worth the money, we stayed for two nights from Nov 22-24. We saw a bear at the stream behind the hotel from our balcony which was pretty cool! Free breakfast Parking was $10 a night. Pay cash or card. Front desk staff was nice the two ladies upon check in. Cades cove is about an hour drive from the hotel definitely recommend that if you like Mountain View’s and wildlife. Photography was amazing for the views.

Overall an experience as the room was really nice and we had very little to do with the front desk after buying wood. Only issue arose when I had a medical emergency the afternoon on the day before my wedding & my service dog was alerting that I needed my medication. She is about 5lbs and is very quiet when alerting. In 5 years, ive never had a complaint about her, despite traveling across the country together & she even traveled to Canada with me.... but a new couple arrived in the roo. next to us that afternoon that kept banging their door & slamming things. They seemed upset that I had a service animal & told me that animals weren't allowed. I pointed to her service vest & said thay she was with me. Well, I got 3 calls while we were out getting my prescription filled (in a strange state at a random pharmacy wasn't easy or quick) and by the time I got back to the room and called the hotel back, they let me know that if I was unable to keep my service dog quiet, that we would be kicked out & that we would forfeit the cost of the rest of our stay. I apologized for any inconvenience and explained the issue that had arose & was simply told to not let it happen again. This was our 2nd trip, last year was just an evening on our way back from Washington DC but we had Toast as well.... We loved the room & the creek is great, but to give prospective, pics are attached... I wish they'd have handled things differently as it put a really negative sheen over everything but I honestly wasn't going to let the unhappy couple that arrived next door to ruin my wedding or trip.
