If you are looking for bang for your buck then look no further. I work in hotels and I understand service levels of all kinds. From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and courtesy. Room service was prompt. Cleaning and refreshing needs were met quickly and accurately. The room was well appointed and stylish and met all of our needs. The location cannot be beat for exploring all the central neighborhoods around Baixa. The experience with this hotel and with Lisbon overall actually led us to add an additional day to our vacation which the hotel accommodated easily. Another choice in hotel would come down to pure aesthetic choice but we found everything to be comfy and professional. For the price point this was a perfect decision. A couple of notes for the sake of an honest opinion. If you travel in a season that is generally cold and turns out to be a bit warmer be aware that you can’t switch from heat to AC. We found that simply opening the windows was enough for us. We thought that the bathroom could’ve benefited from a fan and maybe another more convenient outlet. It would also be nice to have a floor length mirror in the room for fit checks when going out at night. And my only real complaint would be the bed that was a good bit too firm for my liking. Still not enough to take off a star rating but maybe something to consider if you have back or shoulder problems. All things considered I would rate the place 5/5 and would absolutely stay again.

The hotel's location is good, right in the heart of the old town. Many places are within walking distance. The room is very small; two people can't even stand upright in the bathroom. The bed is narrow, at most 1.40 meters wide, and hard. The view from the window is of a narrow atrium with many air conditioning units, drains, and general grime. It stinks and is noisy. The shower door doesn't close properly, so it's constantly flooded. As a result, the door is warped and no longer closes. Therefore, the ventilation system runs constantly and is noisy in the room. We are very disappointed 😞 For a 4-star hotel, one expects more....
