Bucharest Comfort Suites

The hotel we stayed in was quite old and poorly maintained. Our room was very cold; although there was air conditioning, we weren't given the remote control. Only the heaters were on, but they were definitely not enough to warm the room. Also, there were constant banging/slamming noises from upstairs throughout the night. Even though we were on the top floor, this was quite disturbing. Overall, we were not at all satisfied with our stay and do not intend to choose it again.

An absolute disaster, with Booking.com complicit in promoting this "4-star" hotel by saying all sorts of nonsense (especially regarding parking). It's a particularly run-down hotel from the 1950s. The icing on the cake: no hot water or heating for 24 hours. We were offered a shower in a room they had rented in a nearby hotel... (How convenient first thing in the morning, with the other guests!) I had to ask for extra blankets and a portable electric heater, which they didn't offer. Even so, we caught a cold and spent the remaining two days in bed, sick. Booking.com washes its hands of the whole thing, claiming they aren't responsible. That's false: by presenting misleading information, they expose themselves to legal action (they've already been convicted in a similar case). We were told the outage affected the entire block, which was, of course, untrue. They are equipped with space heaters, and it's not the first time this has happened, as a nearby hotel told me. What's more, even though there was no hot water or heating, I saw them rent a room to elderly people without them saying a word! The rooms are large, but very little works (the safe, for example). It's worth noting that our windows were covered by illuminated advertisements at night. Even with the curtains closed, it was broad daylight! The avenues are noisy, and there's no soundproofing whatsoever. We were supposed to stay three nights, but we left after the second night for the airport, feeling unwell and having not been able to see what we wanted in Bucharest. We requested a refund from Booking, which is responsible for this deception (they asked us to send a photo to prove our claims... A photo of what? We were supposed to buy a thermometer?). Breakfast is located in a closed room in the basement, and the corridor leading to it is only 1.90 meters high (I'm 2 meters tall). In short, don't go there and beware of trusting organizations like the one I mentioned, which couldn't care less about the problems encountered (I had the same experience with a car rental company, Green Motion Rental Car Airport in Marrakech, which is promoted by Booking and is a notorious scammer that floods websites with fake, poorly written reviews). A lawsuit is pending.

My daughter arrived with her friends for 5 nights, they told them that there will be no hot water for the first night Then they said it will last for the whole stay They asked to cancel the reservation, The hotel manager was rude and didn't care, and was not willing to give them a refund Eventually they ledt the hotel, and paid for another one instead Stay away from it!!!!
