Stayed around mid Sept and despite hotel being full stay was pretty quiet. The hotel and staff were both helpful and lovely, they even allowed us to check in early after our long trip there. The hotel is in excellent location, close to train station, city center, multiple great restaurants. My room was spacious for European standards and clean. Didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms but if you do leave window open at night might hear sounds coming from the street (which can be busy on weekends).

Well located but access to the room is via a long, narrow staircase. Breakfast includes a capsule coffee maker + 2 small cellophane-wrapped biscuits. It's a bit tight!

Two important positive points that unfortunately don't outweigh the negatives: the welcome is very good, and the location is ideal. For the rest, there are several issues to address: First, the bedding is really bad. The beds are quite short (I think 1.90m, not 2m, in any case shorter than any we've tried elsewhere in Sardinia) but above all, they're not very comfortable, and the pillows are hard and have many bumps that are very easily noticeable. Second, the hygiene needs to be improved. Quite a bit of dust on the furniture. Mold in the shower, a very clogged shower, and a very small shower, which makes the experience really uncomfortable. Very damaged faucets. Another hygiene issue: we received a bath towel with a fairly large brown stain (at least 5cm). We reported it, and they replaced it. Of course, a stain can happen, but given the size of the stain and the other points mentioned, it didn't reassure us. These points (the size of the shower and lack of cleanliness) are not at all visible or represented in the photos, so they seem quite misleading to us. Then there's the soundproofing. Of course, we're not in a 4-5 star hotel, and the house is likely an old house in Caglirari, so we're not expecting anything perfect. However, we could clearly hear the neighbors' bathroom noises; and also, the door leading to the hallway is very poorly insulated, which gave it a dormitory feel. The door should be sealed. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was received but didn't work. We ultimately left because we slept poorly and felt uncomfortable in the room. It's a shame because the location was really good and the staff were friendly.
