First time going there. Was a beautiful place. Pet friendly. People were very nice. The staff members were top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked me about Callahans.

Terrible “manager attention” First time I encounter with a man that calls himself manager and treats people in such a bad way. Came on time to know our reservation had been cancelled by them, it was paid, we had plans around this. The manager didn’t care about us driving 3 hours to get here. Even the young gentleman was willing to help more than that man. He only excused himself saying it hadn’t been him. Do you really think you cancel over someone who’s had the reservation over 2 months ? I don’t think so. Bad management. I’m glad we found a better place with REAL attention and people that cares

If I could give less starts I would… incredible we had this reservation made since beginning of December 2025, came to Mt Ashland to ski and then at check in time we came to the hotel just to found out our paid reservation was cancelled… the manager was incredibly disrespectful and a liar, he said it was not his fault and that booking had tried to contact me to say they had overbooked a ton of reservations. I showed the manager the 3 emails I had, 1 saying it was paid, 2 saying that Callaghan lodge was the one that had cancelled my reservation and they offering a price difference. I even showed my calls since he said they had tried to reach me, I’ve used booking for 6 years annd this is the very first time something like this happens. Unfortunately this came to ruin my weekend plans. Never ever again I will stop in this place, the young man that was at front desk was trying to help and wrote down in a paper “house” since they had that one available and the “manager” said no. Incredible people like him. At the end the “manager” told me, “what do you want me to do, to create new rooms ?” And I did called booking to confirm it was the hotel that cancelled
