I stayed here on March 3, 2026. Located at a strategic transportation hub where National Route 1 and the Meihan Expressway intersect, this hotel is an ideal base for travel to the Meishinetsu, Hanna, and Keishi regions. I booked my stay through Agoda for 5,240 yen for a room only stay. There is a major business hotel nearby, but I was able to stay there for 2,000-3,000 yen cheaper. Guests will receive the password for the rooftop public bath when they check in at the front desk, so be sure to check it carefully. The public bath is on the top floor (11th floor) and requires a password to enter. Candeo Hotel gives the impression of being a cut above the rest for a business hotel. Like other hotels in the Candeo group, the hotel has a calm atmosphere, making extensive use of indirect lighting. The hotel and guest rooms are comfortable, with dimmed lighting that is neither too dark nor too bright. The tables and other furnishings are spacious and functional, and the hotel is clean, so I was very satisfied. The large rooftop bath has a sauna, cold bath, indoor bath and open-air bath, and as the open-air bath is on the 11th floor, it's also great to soak in the water while looking down on the Kameyama bypass. There are many other major business hotels in the area, but this one is a cut above the rest and can sometimes be cheaper depending on the season, so I think it's a high priority to choose! Definitely check it out!

It was the best value for money! It also has a hot spring, free breakfast, and costs less than 10,000 yen, making it an incredible deal. The staff were all very kind. It's a hotel I'd love to stay at again!

I'm staying there right now, and it's terrible. The changing rooms for the baths are extremely crowded because the size of the changing rooms does not match the number of guest rooms at all. I never expected to have to queue at the changing rooms. Even when taking a bath, you have to queue because there are only three washing areas. When I looked into the water, there was countless pieces of debris floating in it so I couldn't get in. The drain in the washing area doesn't seem to have been cleaned either, so it doesn't flow well and there are several centimetres of water accumulated. When I looked up, I saw mold growing on the wall. Even a mother with a small child was shocked. I'm planning to stay for several nights, but I'm going to stop by a super sento tomorrow before returning to the hotel. It's that bad.
