At check-in, I misunderstood the male staff member, so I asked him to speak more slowly. He was kind and explained things slowly, drawing pictures. Staff are just as good as people, but this staff member really enhanced the hotel's image. I stayed in a cabin for two nights and didn't have any major issues. However, they need a refrigerator, improved Wi-Fi and 5G networks, better room cleaning, and a more diverse food menu. They said Wi-Fi might not be available in cabins, but it did work for a few hours, but then it was completely down for the next two days. There aren't many streetlights in the cabin area, so you can see the stars right outside the front door.

This was the third of four hotels we stayed at during our 5-day adventure to Yellowstone NP. Overall, this was probably the tied with Lake Yellowstone Hotel when it came to location, room type, and comfort. The room was in Dunraven Lodge, it was clean, well-maintained, but not much effort was given to decorating the room or the type of furniture – still the beds offered us a good night’s rest. However, the room was sufficiently large enough even if it lacked a television or other conveniences you would expect to find at a large chain hotel. The staff at the check-in desk were very friendly and helpful and we appreciated that greatly. As for the price of the rooms, well, like they say, location, location, location. This lodge provided us with the perfect place to be for our visit to the Upper and Lower Falls early in the morning and without the crowds, it was perfect. The lodge offers no free breakfast, and you do have to either walk or drive down to Canyon Eatery for all your meals unless you brought your own food.
