Hotel with older facilities in downtown Curitiba, but with a fair price. It fully meets the needs of a business traveler.

On the night of February 27th to 28th, my boyfriend made a reservation in his name for two people. He is Asian and speaks little Portuguese. Upon arriving at the location, we were greeted with awkward stares. The attendant, who was not wearing identification, began asking my boyfriend several questions, treating him differently, as if he were just a "foreign tourist," with a clearly self-serving attitude. Then, he demanded documents. At the time, I did not have mine with me. It was then that the attendant suggested that we could "resolve" the situation by paying in cash, offering to issue a fake document so that I could access the place. I emphasize that the reservation was already confirmed for two people, with only my boyfriend's information. I immediately refused the offer and questioned his attitude. My boyfriend, due to difficulty with the language, initially did not understand the seriousness of the situation and almost accepted. When we informed him that I would be returning home to retrieve my document, the attendant began to expel us from the premises, stating that we could no longer stay there, treating us disrespectfully and insinuating embarrassing situations, as if we were acting irregularly. I requested the immediate cancellation of the reservation to avoid any undue charges, but he refused. We remained at the location until, after much insistence, he claimed to have processed the cancellation. After we left, my boyfriend checked his email and found that he had not received any confirmation. We returned to the hotel to clarify the situation. The attendant did not open the door, began filming us, and from inside, started shouting, simulating that we were trying to break into the establishment, completely reversing the facts and portraying us as being in the wrong. The situation was extremely embarrassing and disrespectful. I contacted the 190 emergency number and filed a police report. The place has cameras; if the comment reaches the hotel management, please check the recordings from the night of the 27th to the 28th, around 11:30 PM/12:00 AM. They need to review their staff.

Receptionist on 26/02 at 11:20 pm. Negotiated a reservation that had already been made. Why was she in a bad mood? Terrible service.
