Caravia Beach Hotel & Bungalows - All Inclusive

It was a great family holiday. Of course, there's room for improvement in one or two areas, but that's really nitpicking!

A wonderful holiday, would love to come back.

We are currently here from October 13th to 20th, 2025. There are some great aspects, but unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives for us. - From the outside, the hotel is top-notch. - Great adult area, unfortunately no heated pools, hardly any sun loungers. - Delicious food, but only lukewarm/cold in the large restaurant, large crowds. Great in the adult area, but little variety in the dishes. - Great service from the staff, not in the rooms or at the reception. Better with lots of tips, of course. - Room service has only made our beds since day one. They don't change glasses, don't wipe, and don't refill the water. - Water can be refilled with your "own" bottle from dispensers throughout the hotel. - Laundry service is extremely expensive, I find it about €8 per T-shirt. - At the reception, we weren't given any information about the hotel, but only informed about the tourist tax that had to be paid per night. - There is hardly any signage in the hotel complex; we saw one sign on the grounds. No signs or other signage. It's very difficult to find your way around the large property. - Changing beach towels is a matter of luck regarding the location. Sometimes it's in the spa, sometimes at the kiosk, or somewhere else. You only find out about it at the actual drop-off point via a sign by the beach. - There's a supervisor at every pool area, which is very good. - Almost everything is wheelchair accessible. - Drinks are sufficient, but still limited for all-inclusive (no espresso, cappuccino, etc. included). - The property often smells of sewage, and in some places, it's persistent. - Wi-Fi all the way to the beach is very good. Unfortunately, we're only partially convinced by the concept. What's described as sustainable is more likely to be translated as independence and personal responsibility on the part of the guests. We're also not impressed with the standard in the suites, especially regarding room service. For the price, I definitely imagine a thorough cleaning at least once. It was okay for a week, but we wouldn't book it again, not at that price.
