Avoid avoid avoid. Stayed here on Valentine’s Day for 2 nights in the jr suite, rooms AC was locked, windows did not open. No Dyson air fan where other suites had one. No wifi on TV, Chromecast did not work. Horrible night shift manager making remarks such as “ you get what you pay for in this room” basically saying we should have paid for the suite instead of jr suite when I made him aware of some of the issues. Was not given a code to leave the car park although they where aware I drive to the hotel upon check in. Furniture in room was falling apart table legs bent. Made management aware off all these issues no help at all. Was given a email to send the complaint too instead of helping me during the stay. Emailed the hotel it’s approaching a month now no update or follow up reply other than them acknowledging they got it. Email showed pictured evidence of everything. Hotel made us feel like we were rushed into the room and not welcome and the complaints where not heard more passed onto someone handling the emails. We’ve stayed in most if not all named hotels in Dublin including the Carlton in other areas multiple times. But this one located in blanch is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Carlton won’t be getting any business from us or our coworkers who also stayed in the hotel with us in their own rooms. Long story short avoid this hotel horrible stay go for another one. Royal marine , Gibson, skylon or any other hotel practically would be much better. Edit: frogot the mention , bar is also very slow took around 30 minutes from starters finished till main course arrived would’ve took longer if I didn’t ask where it was. Workers behind bar hiding behind a piller eating chocolate bars delaying to serve people. Person handing appointments rude and when we switched to waitering preferred to flirt with woman for 10 minutes straight to the point his own co workers had to come and give out to him. He don’t it multiple times as when I ordered drinks workers chatting complaining….
