Not going to lie. This place, the staff, painting in the lobby, furniture, rooms, general atmosphere and especially the doll house seriously creeps me out. Both of us couldn't sleep and had nightmares. Whole place gives me occult vibes.

Tl:dr You should try it. It's a beautiful location and the rooms were great - but it feels like a three star trying really hard to be a five star. It's very odd. I feel like I would almost rate it higher if they offered less. They try for a luxury experience, but don't have the staff, training, or service to land it. You feel like any package or experience you book is only made possible by having the limited staff pulled off another job to rush out and set it up. We were told we had to book the spa ahead of time, so we did, then that morning the spa wasn't running. I tried to use the phone at the spa to call (as instructed) and it was dead. I went upstairs to ask about it and I was told I needed to make an appointment for it to be turned on.. an appointment I definitely made with the other concierge - but I don't think she put it in because they were doing seven jobs at once. Also I was told that was their forth dead phone lol But not in a "oh let me change that right away" but in a "yeah, it's like that" kinda way. So again, it's not bad at all. Try it. Pet the horse. But they want premium prices for a skeleton crew and the essence of first class that doesn't quite land.
