My stay at this hotel was so comfortable that I felt right at home. I must mention the excellent service from the staff, the very clean rooms and public areas, and the unbeatable location, so I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

⭐️ Not worth the price I booked through Booking.com, mainly because of the photos and the fact that the hotel is a member of Design Hotels, as I've had very good experiences with other hotels in the chain in the past. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very disappointing. The room costs around $4,000 MXN per night, including breakfast and two cocktails. Honestly, I'd prefer they charged less and didn't include anything, because the price isn't justified by the quality of the accommodations. ✅ The redeeming qualities The common areas are the best part of the hotel: nice greenery and a mid-century style decor that works visually. That's where the positives end. The air conditioning, although old, works perfectly and is surprisingly quiet. ❌ Rooms The rooms are too small. They have a room divider that, in the most basic room categories, doesn't work: it creates a dark passageway that's supposed to be the closet, right behind the headboard, further reducing the walkway space. There are no nightstands; a niche in the headboard attempts to fulfill that function, which is appreciated, but I believe nightstands are necessary for real comfort. ❌ Bathroom The bathroom looks good in photos, but in practice, it's completely dysfunctional. If you travel with toiletries, there's nowhere to put anything. They even put in a kind of melamine shelf, which is totally out of place with the room's design and is also the first thing you see when using the toilet. ❌ Details and Maintenance The set of keys to enter the room and turn on the light is bulky and impractical. The shampoo and conditioner are from a generic brand, with an unpleasant smell and consistency. At this price, you'd expect a collaboration with a well-known brand. The glass design is very poorly executed: full of visible silicone, broken pieces, dirty, and covered in paint blobs. Overall, it has aged very badly; it looks like a design taken from Pinterest that hasn't managed to stay relevant or well-maintained over time. All the furniture has faulty hinges, doesn't close properly, and as a result, is damaged and scratched. The bedroom shows a complete lack of maintenance: patched paint, cracks, and neglected details everywhere. ❌ Noise Something I expected, but not at this level, was the noise. I understand that the area has an active nightlife, but using single-pane glass with steel frames creates vibrations that amplify the noise. This could easily be mitigated with double-pane windows. In addition, at night, I heard constant footsteps, like a pet's, on the floor above. I stayed on the 8th floor, and I don't know if the upper floor was a terrace, but the noise was annoying. 🔻 Conclusion This hotel has good aesthetic intentions in its common areas, but the rooms are poorly designed, impractical, badly maintained, and extremely overpriced. For $4,000 MXN per night, there are considerably better options in terms of design, comfort, and attention to detail. I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it.

The staff were genuinely lovely, but unfortunately our stay was let down by a few issues. Our room had a strong sewage smell, to the point that it made me feel nauseous overnight, and the internet connection was very unreliable. The room was also very small, even with just carry-on luggage we could barely put our bags down, and I can’t imagine how anyone with a full-size suitcase would manage.
