Amazing location surrounded by mountains with views in every direction. Easy walking trails from the hotel and many difficult ones too. Hotel facilities and entertainment options are really good for family visits. Staff are all well trained and very helpful. All inclusive food options were excellent. The hotel buildings, and other facilities like tennis courts, minigolf etc are in need of updating but tolerable in exchange for the location. The roads from the N3 upto the hotel are sadly in poor condition

I stayed there for 2 days after finishing Drakensberg mini traverse, and it was amazing.

Our 1st time there, they didn't cater for us that are lactose intolerant, there was cream in almost everything, especially the desserts and all of the pasta dishes and sauces too. Entertainment for the little kids(4-7) were great but not much for little ones younger than 3years. Then guests complained about my baby(2year old toddler) having a tantrum at the breakfast table, management asked us " to do something about it ". In case people with no kids don't understand, this is a family resort! People with babies and toddlers and little kids are going to come there on holiday! We are paying clients too! We have just a much right to be there as they do and so do my kids! Management handle the situation poorly! Shaming us for having a toddler who is behaving NORMAL for his age was disgusting! If the guests had a problem they can leave anytime! Or go sit somewhere else! My toddler is out of his home in a new environment, out of his normal routine, between strangers and have to eat strange food, of course its going to affect him, and we are trying our best to console him and ease him. We also don't like it when he has a tantrum but such is life. Im not going to starve my child because people have an opinion! And please keep a more than one nanny on duty at the kids room for free to watch the toddlers and little babies so us the parents can have a peace of mind and eat in peace. Why should we pay for a nanny! It should be included by the expensive price. Plus keep the kiddie play room open until 9h30 for the bigger kids to play while we eat, because now we are rushing and cannot enjoy the food because the kids room closes at 20h00 and we just arrived for dinner at 19h00, an dinner starts at 18h30... This place needs to improve alot to call itself a kids and baby friendly place for families with kids. And my little one wasn't the only one having tantrums in the restaurant there was other kids too. So we will never return, and we will tell everyone with kids not to go there either!
