Celina Hotel & Apartment

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and other attractions. The staff, as always, were extremely attentive and friendly. A drawback of Vietnam is the lack of hand towels in hotels. Hand soap is the same as shower gel. This place offers good value for money. They immediately assisted me when I mentioned any deficiencies in the room. Tea, coffee, and water are readily available in your room. A comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, and bath towel are provided. Restaurants and spas near such establishments tend to be a bit more expensive. You can find quality local places within a street or two. In my opinion, the biggest problem for tourists in Vietnam is exchanging money. Foreign currency is not accepted anywhere, and you can't easily convert your money everywhere.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Rooms were not clean and had insects. The receptionist refused to change the room unless we paid extra for an upgrade. They only sprayed disinfectant, which made the room suffocating. Even the upgraded room had insects. When we asked for the manager, there was no response. Very disappointing experience. Not recommended. No view. They don’t even change the change the amenities or replace the bed sheets .When asked they flip the mattress.

This is the first time something like this has happened in my life. I've visited 27 countries, and before this, I was in Da Nang. Everything was fine at the Paros and Belle Maison Hotel, but this experience was simply incredible. I didn't want to write this at first because the security guard was nice and always helpful, but now this is the last straw. When booking, I clearly stated in the comments that I needed a room away from the elevator, as my stay was for TWO months. I also sent a separate email to the hotel emphasizing this request. The hotel didn't respond. They could have cancelled the reservation, but they decided to simply ignore it and accepted it. However, upon arrival, they gave me a room RIGHT NEXT to the elevator and informed me that the hotel was fully booked. No apologies, nothing. The soundproofing is terrible, my neighbor was yelling at 5 a.m., and the reception desk was unhelpful, so breakfast between 6 and 9 a.m. is impossible. Furthermore, at 3 a.m. today, I was informed that I had to pay extra for a towel because it was allegedly left dirty. I categorically disagree with this charge. No proof was provided, and I couldn't find any information about such a policy on Trip.com or in the hotel's rules and regulations. They're asking me to wash it myself, but I'm asking for proof that it belongs to me, a laundry report showing it can't be washed, and where in the hotel rules is this stated, and where did I sign the consent form? But they completely ignore everything. When I go down to reception, they stand there, speaking pointedly in Vietnamese, and ignore everything. I called the reception desk, and the employee, as she told Bonie, removed her name badge and hung up when I called. But when her colleague arrived and I mentioned it, the phone suddenly worked again. Even though I tried calling and the wonderful Bonie kept hanging up, the phone simply didn't work. After talking to the colleague—oh, miracles! It worked. They refuse to give me the director's number, even though they're legally obligated to, and the manager's too. The issue is being resolved through trip.com, which they also ignore. Otherwise, I'll contact the tourist police. They brazenly lie that they can't give me the director's number, nor the receptionist's.
