I stayed at Centre Point Hotel on Sukhumvit 10 for three weeks over Christmas and New Year, and my experience was great overall. The hotel staff are very attentive, polite, and always happy to help. The room cleaners are excellent and maintained my room to a very high standard throughout my stay. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and the pillows were excellent too. The bathroom and shower were very powerful, which was a big plus. There are four lifts in the building, so you never have to wait long to get up to your floor. Breakfast offers a good range of items and the food quality is solid. The hotel is about a 10–15 minute walk from the main road, but there’s a shuttle bus running every few minutes if you don’t feel like walking. They also offer free coffee during the day, which is a nice touch. The only thing that left a slight sour taste was at checkout, when the hotel attempted to charge me for a small drinking glass that I accidentally broke while washing up. Considering I spent over £2,000 on my stay, I felt this was extremely petty for an upmarket four-star hotel, and I categorically refused to pay. Ensuring guests leave happy and want to return should be more important than the cost of a cheap glass. Aside from that, it was a very good experience overall and I would recommend this hotel to others. There’s also a great park just a five-minute walk away, which is definitely worth checking out.
