It was close to the station, inexpensive, and the staff were very friendly, so I had a pleasant stay. However, there was only one elevator, so it was always full and you couldn't get on if you were on a lower floor, so you had to wait quite a while. When I stayed there, the outside staircase to the first floor was locked, so I ended up having to use the elevator. This was the only disappointing aspect.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the unit bath was small and seemed to have been poorly maintained. The spa in the basement only had three showers and the changing room was small, so it was congested. There was only one elevator, and it was small, so you had to wait at check-out time. But I was glad I was able to stay there cheaply, even over the New Year holidays. It's conveniently located close to the station and the scenic area, and there's a Marunaka shopping mall right across the street.

The location was great, being close to Kurashiki's scenic area. The hot spring was also more beautiful than I expected. However, the only thing that was disappointing was the location of the toilet and shower in the room. The toilet and bath were closer than I expected, which I found a bit inconvenient. The sink was also next to the toilet, which I thought was quite small. However, this is common in hotels, so if you don't mind, I don't think it's a big deal. I think hotel baths are quite small and cramped. Everyone goes to hot springs, right? So this bath is fine, right? It's a bit small, so you should be careful. Other than that, I didn't have any particular issues. There were three breakfast start and finish times to choose from: 6:30-8:30, 7:30-9:30, etc. I could choose between Japanese and Western, and I chose the Western option. It was more filling than I expected, with thick-sliced toast, quiche, soup, and other side dishes! There was also rice and bread next to the seat, so I was satisfied with the breakfast!! I've read a lot of reviews saying the bathroom was dirty, but I actually found it very clean. However, the lockers are small, so unless you change into your loungewear and hotel wear, take your underwear and a towel with you to the bathroom, it'll be difficult to fit your entire bag in. There are also only a few places to wash, so if they're full, you'll have to wait. As long as you keep that in mind, I don't think there will be any problems. 😊 Thank you for the delicious breakfast. 😁
