The age of the place is undeniable. While the facilities have been renovated, the toilet seat was broken and unusable, which was disappointing 😞 I opened the small window a little, but the wall of the neighboring apartment building blocked the view; all I could see was a tiny bit of sky. The price was higher than the surrounding hotels. I had researched all of this beforehand, but... It was just too far removed from reality.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff always kept the food and tableware in good condition, so we were able to eat comfortably without feeling crowded. The soft-boiled eggs were especially delicious! The room was just the right size, with no unnecessary amenities and cleanliness. The calm atmosphere allowed me to relax. The location is excellent, not to mention the proximity to the station and convenience stores. Minatogawa Shrine is right in front of the hotel, so I was happy to be able to visit the shrine in the morning and then return immediately for breakfast.

The cheapest nearby parking lots were surprisingly cheap. There were some that were only 200 yen if you left at 8 AM. The rooms were clean. It depended on the day, but I got a great deal if I booked on the day. The front desk lady was also nice and helpful, and I appreciated her smile. I'll definitely be back.
